never built a metric before allways camaros, my question, how to build it, on the camaros we allways welded up the seems on the frames, moved shock/control arm towers to aid in caster camber. im picking up the car this week, so please help with some info, also have a 9" out of ranchero, is this the correct width rearend?

also who makes a good cage kit for these cars, ive seen the one from JR, is there anyothers?

thanx 17j,out west everyone and their brothers run the leaf cars, just trying to do something a lil different, i have never really gotten a good look at one before, i sure appreciate your comments, what do you think of the destroyer cars, called them and they actually seem very reasonably priced.

i run sportsman kit in my metric chassis from CSC, 4 years of figure 8s and many totaled cars at the innersection later and its still strong and streight

i don't think that the ranchero rear axle is the right width there is a place here in iowa that sell the axle with metric mounts on ebay here is the auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7913235071&category=33731

all you need is brakes axles and a center section and you are ready to go

I just bought one of those housing and axle packages from quick and I am really pleased with it. The only thing that I seen that I didnt like was that they didnt put a drain and fill holes in it, no big deal just done it my self. All and all for $675 not a bad deal.

there isnt anywhere within a thousand miles to get a rear end jigged, so ill just have to order a housing, where do i mount the fuel cell, up high for roll over? thats were weve allways done it, allso mount it center or to the left?
