Quick question. Would a "512" box be better than the "605" in have on my metric now? Local yard might give me one. Thanks, Race

The "605" has a smaller diameter pitman shaft which is prone to breaking or twisting in a crash. But that happens on the others too. Check the amount of turns on the other to make sure it is quicker if that is what you want. The down side is, it is heavier than the 605 and you will have to also replace the pitman arm to change the gear and possibly the coupler depending on what size the input shaft is on the 512. One last thing, make sure both gears have the same ports, both came with o-ring OR flare ports. So it may or not be an advantage for you, depends on what you are looking to achieve.
