Wondering how well these hold up running in
second or third gear. I've had good luck
running a 3 speed in second, but I'm looking
for some different gearing combinations and
I've never tried a 4 speed.
Thanks,
John

Just as well as the 3-speed.

I have had good luck with them But you should ghange the front bearing. just remove the front cone four bolts and undo the retainer clip the bearing will slide off and you can take it down and get a bearing from a bearing supply shop . If they have just the sealed bearing use a needle nose plier and remove the back bearing cover good luck, make sure to keep a bungy cord in the car you never know when a syncro might take a dump on you. There was and old article in circle track that had the gear ratio by the grooves on the front shaft i missed placed mine but i will look for it.

Thanks, I've found several charts on the net,
and all agree, I just didn't know if it would
hold up, especially running it in second.
