I need to set the caster and camber on my 86 regal. Can anyone tell me about how many shims to start with so it wont take all year. Thanks

The number of shims will vary greatly car to car. And with what parts you have in it. Find someone with a caster/camber gauge and see what it will take to have them measure it for you....will be a one shot deal then and you know its right. Not to mention, it will be a whole new car handling wise.

I do have a gauge I just thought if someone could get me in the ballpark to start with I could fine tune it to get it right and it wouldnt take forever. Its a new car thats why I dont know where to start.

I can tell you what I have in mine. No shims on the drivers side with the a arm bar grinded on an angle. Rf closest to firewall 8 or 9 shims, 2 or 3 at the front.
