I need to order a clutch pressure plate and throw out bearing. What do i tell the guys at napa? I have a lightened flywheel for the 10.5 clutch. The engine is a 355 and the 3 speed is out of a 69 camaro and the bell housing is off a 74 chevy pickup.

I would recommend getting a 6 disc clutch if allowed.

I would strongly recomend a blow proof bellhousing.I used to run a stock bellhousing until one day I had a rear gear lock up at speed. When the gear locked up all that force traveled up the driveshaft and literally tore the trans and bellhousing right off the back of the motor which resulted in all that stuff coming through the floor board of my race car.The shrapnel barely missed my legs and feet.To this day I do not know how I got out of that one with out any injuries. The blow proof housing is more $$$$, but a **** of a sight cheaper than losing any part of your body. I will never race without one.EVER.

Here is the Summit part number that was suggested to me as the lightest stock pressure plate and clutch. ZZZ-MU1675-1 $98.99, I dont remember what the exact weight is, maybe someone else can tell you.

I know its a bit spendy, but you might want to seriously consider using a hydraulic throw out bearing.

Just a thought on the lightened flywheel, I had bought one from JR Motorsports and thought I could buy the disc at the local auto parts store, come to find out it wouldn't except a spring hub center,The springs hit on the flywheel bolts, (and yes I had the disc turned the right way )I had to go with a solid center type disc, which works fine, but some tracks dont allow solid center discs.
