Im a new driver. We will be racing on a medium banked 1/4 mile track that dries out by the feature. We have to run street tires. We run 8" and 10" rims. What is a good set up as far as tire sizes and stagger? Any info on air pressures will also help.

The track has long straightways with tight corners. the front straight is banked about 8 degrees and the back straight is almost flat. The car is a 79 Buick regal. It weighs approx. 3300lbs. I'm running tubes because I can't afford beadlocks yet. We are allowed to run beadlocks on all four wheels.

Beadlocks on all 4? Man that would be great! Can't even run 1 at the track I run now!

I'm running a 383 stroker with a 2bbl. I'm using a turbo 350 and the rearend is a 3.73 I believe. We are allowed to run aftermarket intakes so I'm using a victor jr. The pistons are JE 13:1 compression with 64cc heads. We have to run stock cast iron heads and block. I see some guys run a big rt front tire. What does that do? My cam rpm range is 2500 to 7000

We run 275 60's on the rt side and 255 60's on the left side all on 8" wheels and it works real good for us.
