i've been playing around with some different spring setups this year,
with various results. 1/4 mile asphalt, low bank track. hoosier slicks.
78 camaro. 7.04 final gear ratio. HD Bilstein shocks all the way around.
left = 53%, rear = 48.5%, cross = 47-49%. front stagger 1-2", rear stagger
1-2". sway bar in front, not really tightened at all. no rear sway bar.

base spring setup LF 900, RF 1000, LR 205, RR 205. With this combo, a little
push mid turn, a little loose at turn exit. increased rear stagger to help
mid turn and that really does not help mid turn push and still a little loose
at turn exit.

spring setup LF 840, RF 840, LR 205, RR 205. With this combo, made me
wicked loose at turn entry. car felt like it was rolling over way too
much to the right. couldn't really even get through the turn properly.

spring setup LF 840, RF 1000, LR 205, RR 205. With this combo, made me
not as loose at turn entry from above, but still pretty loose.

spring setup LF 1080, RF 1200, LR 205, RR 205. With this combo, felt good
at entry, less push mid turn and wicked loose at turn exit. brought cross
to almost 49% and still wicked loose at exit.

I just can't seem to shake the loose at exit problem. Suggestions?

Bump up LR spring by 50lbs. You seem to only be changing the front. Your gaining to much weight to RR making you loose.

IF YOU HAVE A REAR SWAY BAR WHICH SIDE WOULD YOU PRE LOAD TO TIGHTEN THE CAR UP?

my setup for 1/4 mile asphalt
springs lf900 rf850 lr200 rr250
weight 53% left...unless rules allow more
rear 49% and cross 48-49%
stagger 2 1/2 to 3"
and the smallest swaybar you can find
this is for 10-15 degree banking

Are you overdriving the car through the middle of the corner. Our driver was doing that by turning too much and creating a loose condition. You might try just watching you driving and make sure that you are not the one loosening up the car instead of the setup.

corey,i think you are probably correct
generally speaking lighten up on the throttle
on pavement works wonders...i have set alot
of pvmt cars in all classes and overdriving is almost always part of the problem
