Been running mini stocks for a few years and now attempting street stocks. I went out for practic for the first time in a street stock car was hooking up like no tomorrow. Track was dry as could be and most cars were just spining the tires going nowhere. I was told by several people the car was hooking up good. Shooting rooster tails from both rear wheels. Then after 5 laps in the middle of turn 3-4 the rearend just jumped around sideways like it were on ice and died out. I tryed to restart, but the switch failed and it would not start. As they pushed me off the track the left axle creep out, so they towed me the rest of the way. Ok now I pull the axle out and it twisted right off (GM rearend). So I will now use moser axles, but here is the problem. I pulled the cover unscrewed the retaining bolt (the one holding the pin). I unscrewed it with a little 1/4" drive rachet and when I removed it the end was twisted off. How can I remove the remaining peice.
THANKS FOR ALL WHO REPLY

i have used a small pick and turned it
there was a bit of tread left on the bolt
and it came out
bolt was probably broke before you ever
touched it
good luck
if your pick is magnetized will work better

How do you like the power? Nothing like a mini stock is it?

HONESTLY THE STREET FEELS LIKE BARELY MOVING. tHE MINI STOCK IS MUCH FASTER GOING IN THE CORNERS THAN THE STREET STOCK. THE STREET IS MUCH EASIER TO HANDLE TOO. THE MINI STCOK FEELS LIKE IT HAS TWICE THE POWER, WITH ALL THE WHEEL SPIN OUT OF IT. MY STREET IS HOOKING UP GREAT SO IT DOESN'T SPIN MUCH , BUT IT FLIES DOWN THE STRAIGHTAWAYS.
