We put one in a metric a few years ago. It was a pretty good kit. Just order xtra pipe cause we ran out!!

we used one in our street stock 81 Grand Prix, we did buy extra pipe and gussets. The kit went in somewhat easy, doorbars were a little off. One thing to keep in mind, these cage kits are heavy. I think the pipe is .120" wall, all you need is .095" Just a thought.

we put one in our car this year and i will use them again, it was easy to put in. we didnt get the front or rear kickers just the main cage and it fit fine! we had to cut a little off of each piece to get it to fit but it beats have to bend and measure everything yourself!!

back when dad raced, he ran a speedway cage in one of his cars, it ran for years, and hit more stuff then i could imagine.
the cage kits are very strong.
i would get extra tubing from a local supply, dont get pipe get tubing.
also get some gussets.
or to save wieght you could go and get teh main cage from them, then add your own front and rear kickers and loops. get some dom tubing and go with the thinner stuff.

We put one in our car this year. IT IS .104 wall HERW tubing, comparing it to our last kit cage, I think it is much safer although a little heavyer but the increased safety out weighs the little extra weight.

speedway pays shipping on cages... nuff said! I didn't use a kit for mine this year, but my buddy did. I'll only go with a kit from now on. Speeday's kit is very good.
