You can get 12in springs from Speedway Motors I ran them before I moved up a class and went to adjuster bolts. You can probably use the shorter ones with a hidden shim though. Eddie

We have an 81 Malibu. We picked up "11 springs for the front a few months ago. When I took the car out of storage, I noticed the right front lower a frame was missing some paint and was hitting the frame at some point. So, at testing, I put some grease on the frame and sure enough there was some grease on the A frame now too. Now, I have the rates I want to try, but they're getting messed up by bottoming out. What can I use to shim the front springs up? Can you make them out of wood or something, or is it something that would be best to buy?

big city, I guess, I'm saying I'd go for the "12s if I was buying again.
