Did I remember right, a few months ago, on here that someone (Burt Brown?) was making and selling a Powerglide support of some type, that helps keep the cases from stress cracking? if anyone knows about these or a phone no. where i can buy one, please let me know........thanks, ford5

They really don't work that well. Proper installation is the key to long case life. Like running a poly mount and not stressing the case (make sure everything is lined up) and proper driveshaft length 1-1 1/4" from rear seal to shoulder on yoke at ride height.

Do a search for Burt Brown Transmission. He has a website. I just bought some parts from him, he was very, VERY helpful and accomodating. Great guy to deal with.

Call Larry Shaw Race Caras and ask for Wayne Brooks shop number. He ran a glide for years with a brace similar to Burt Browns but it was homemade. Probably $20 max for the material. He never broke a case.
