I just got my new Speedway Motors Rochester 2 barrel and it has a very bad hesitation when I punch the gas. Any suggestions?

Thanks

pump shot isn't enough and is too late. alter the linkage attached to the throttle to give pump shop as soon as the throttle moves even the slightest.
Verify also, that there isn't junk in the squirter circuit.

This stuff is common in "catalog carbs"...

Sounds like it could be a accelerator pump.
