Three weeks before season, I bought a Street stock and am letting my hobby stock set. We can run American Racer tires with IMCA stamped on them. I got three used and 1 new. What is a good pattern to start with for our dry slick track. I realize there are thousand+ ways, I just need a good starting point and was hoping someone could help. Thanks, Race

How much does grooving help. I know every little bit helps but is it worth getting a groover. I run hoosier dirt boss tires.

I like grooving my tires, I found it helps a lot, on dry slick tracks. The way I do it is I take every square on the tires, and put a groove the same width and depth in the middle of them all. Every square on the tire from the outside to the inside.
