I am looking at having a carb redone i was just wandering if anyone has run a 2 barrel rochester built by Randy Wienhold? If so how do you like it, how much, and how do i get a hold of him? Also i am running the 2 barrel rochester out of speeway right now, how much difference is there between a Weinhold carb, and a speedway carb?

Thanks

give randy a call at 712 272 3557, his carbs are the best out there. i cant remember if he charges 175 or 200 for a carb but they are worth every penny. there will be a big difference between a speedway carb and his carbs. all of the top imca guys around here run them, he does some outlaw carbs too that are awsome, hope this helps

Thanks for the information Lube. What does he do to them to keep them within the IMCA hobby rules, and make them better than everyone else?

Its a big secret..... shhhh.....

it really depands on which one you get an IMCA Carb or an outlaw or a mix inbetween....

I got one from him a couple seasons ago and I had to up my jets from 72's in a speedway type of carb up to 83's in his. Needless to say I was really impressed with the results. Also his workmanship is awesome. The carb looked brand new when I got it from him. We can gut the top and some other stuff, he reworked it, removed some parts then bead blasted and texture painted it. I couldn't tell that it didn't come from the factory that way.

Take the time and check him out. Also last I heard he is a tech at BVR? So he is on top of all of IMCA's rules.

Good luck!!
Shawn
