I found a tutorial on the JD2 website about positioning tubing for bends. I haven't tried it yet, but it seems like it would work pretty good.

I use this method when I build my cages. As a matter of fact my bender is a JD2 model 1 (the first one they made) Works like a champ. Im interested to see how the tubing bender calculater works that was posted the the general chat area.
