I am planning on running a 1986 Monte Carlo on a high banked 1/3 mile clay next season. I have the stock power steering box and was wondering if a steering quickner would work better. I will have to run the late model tires on no wider than 10” rims. Is the stock box good enough by itself? Thanks, Nate

I am not sure what you mean. You mount the quickner under the dash on your steering shaft, and still use your stock pump.

I know it doesn't replace the box. My question is what is everyone’s preference? Is it better to not run one or to run one? Thanks

If they are legal, you definitely want the quickener!
