We use the DCA ones on our front lower arms and they are easy to install and work awesome. We use steel uppers on the RS and poly on the left.

Is there a reason you don't use them for everything. What about ball joints.

Just personal preference to do them that way, as for ball joints go with a name brand like moog or something like that. You might as well replace both upper and lowers on both sides and start out with fresh ones.Metal bushing should be greased every other week to avoid seizing.

You can use the upper ball joints from a 84 chevy P/U. They are the correct taper for the spindle. You will need to enlarge the four mounting holes in the arm where it bolts up. Other than that it is a 15 minute job as long as you got a drill. It also rasies the roll center of the car up about .5 inches.

I have never used anything other than the stock lowers. I dont know much about what would work for a lower.
