I will be needing replacement leaf springs for a pure stock with completely stock suspension.

What do i do?

I will cheat if i can get away with it. LOL

I got my rear leafs from Speedway Motors had a 200# and a 225#, I also used the solid(polyurathane) bushings in them. Eddie

If i purchase leaf springs from speedway, am i bending the rules? Or are these considered a stock replacement?

OK, I will be using speedway springs.
But i need to buy them one pair at a time. What do you think would be a good starting point for the spring weight. Med banked 1/4 and 3/8th mile tracks.

Is there any point in cleaning up the stock springs on this car and trying them, or should i just replace them and take new springs to the track first time out?

By the way, thanks for all the replies.

I would go with the 200# and the 225#, thats what I ran on the 3/8, they worked on my 73 Nova. Eddie
