I am building a new motor for next year. I have a 400 small block complete...2 bolt...

What do i need to make it a 372 high rev motor??? im goin to try to use stock 4.125" bore (if i can get away with a hone)..

I am goin to use a 350 "steel" crank...what size rods and pistons can i use???

also goin to use a set of double humps, 2.02 valves...i am not sure of the exhaust vavles...and have to run a rochester 2bbl...

will this be a good set up??? 1/3 mile semi bank in 1-2 and high bank in 3-4...

let me know please...also car is pure stock fully skinned metric monte...

tranny is turbo 350...goin to run it in 2nd gear....

use 5.7 rods and stock compression hieght 400 pistons, however trying to build a high rpm motor fed by a 2bbl probably is not a good idea it will run out of air at higher rpms on you, this has been debated a lot but a 355 may be a better choice or a 400 geared to use the extra tourque and not try to turn it to high.

The volumetric efficiency is better with a smaller motor. A 355-358 would work well.
