On my metric...82 pontiac....

it has the oversize studs in it...big ones! when i measure the bolt pattern...do i measure from the middle of one stud to the end of the other stud??? i came up with 4.75"

does this sound correct for metrics?

Yes a metric should have a 4 3/4 bolt pattern. If you are buying new rims for your car and it has oversized lugs on it I would recomend fitting all of the rims before you need to use them sometimes the holes are just a fraction off and the rim won't slide on very good. Seen way to many frantic tire changes with rims that don't want to go on.

I second sizing the tires especialy with the large studs I've thought I sized tires before and then when i was in a hurry had a really hard time getting them on. So now I size the holes bolt them on and recheck them because sometimes the edge get flattened buy the lug nut and their a pain to get off.
