Just started the racing business in the Street Stock class. Was wondering what would be the correct tire pressure you need to run at? Ran last week and it seemed that my tires we just bumping around and not getting any grip. Currently running a 1/4 clay oval. Thanks!

We run some of those tires and we run 20 lbs. on the right side and 16 lf and 18 lr and never had a problem. Welcome to racing and this should help you in your start. Remember 2lb.s on any tire cam make a huge difference so after you run awhile you might find you want the car to handle different and you can help that with your air preasure.

We run simalair D.O.T tires on our purestock with no beadlocks, however we put tubes in them to run lower pressures and keep them on the rims. The pressures listed above seem alittle high for me,then again diffrent strokes for diffrent folks.
