in perfect world what is final gear and what is rpm deep into corner i run hard until *** lets loose use 300lb springs in rear and peddle gas. this is a new setup never used auto but with gearand tran figures out right. 411 is to much for my engine like 5600 or little less 5400 what would you do

thats what iam running 224/224 465 pulls great to 5800 then goes flat on power but some times pickes up again at 6100 SOME TIMES hyd or sld mine hyd /junk heads worked intake worked 80s exhaust accel dist runs hard but lose every thing at 6000

z28 (type) day racing says good to 500. but thats what i thing is my weak link too but dont now what stock spring will pull on rpms with stock cam under power

checked push rods and run valves same thing timing at 12/34 running summit cam that is the only weak link but talked to alot of people and they have ran summit cam and lift and had good luck just like me . run bigger cam will junk heads take a 334 dur

nope i have run decent heads with big valves and 307 duration is way to much keep her under 300

nope i have run decent heads with big valves and 307 duration is way to much keep her under 300. mine was like that first few nites ran 6300 was good deal then spun a rod bearing and it never turned over 5800 again on the track tried more gear even same thing dog off the corner and no top end
