If you run in a class that forbids adding any weight what would be a way to transfer weight.Tire stagger and air pressure?

Thanks.

They forbid add on weight, what about an extra strong gas tank protector or battery tray, extra large pipe in trunk for strength.

Gut everything allowed, build some rear weight into car, then play with all the stuff 17j mention's

the guy that built one of our cages used a piece of solid bar from the drivers seat back and above the wheel, the rules state a minimum thickness but nothing about solid...

i agree with the fuel cell idea. i built 1/4 inch thick cell that holds 10 gallons. it weighs about 85 lbs empty and with 2 bars welded to frames under trunk floor, i can move it from side to side.

Thanks for the advice.I am going to be running in the crusier class i.e.factory stock. My car is a 79 grand prix I installed a complete .095 roll cage from day motorsports.I plan on installing a fuel cell but as of now going to run the stock fuel tank as mounted.

I bought the car from my cousin for street use but could not afford the gas because he built a 69 pontiac 400 engine.Going to run the 400 unill whenever.

Steve.
