What size jets should be ran in a rodchester 2 barrel to keep from being to Lean and to rich?

You may want to give more info,motor,rpm s, track size , And KP will give you the proper info ! ! ! Just listen and learn he won t steer you wrong !

I agree that KP would be the guy to talk to. I can tell you that at our track most uys are running between 65's and 70's. That would maybe be a good starting point. Those are stock jet sizes, not holley jets.

Probably will depend on altitude, the jets in my car are different from SLC to 2 1/2 hours away in Price. Eddie

Will Jets make your car run hot?Been havin heating problem thats why im askin the jet question,i run Novice class.350 engine .030
over turbo 350 tran,241 rear end,607 final
I dont have reduction pulleys.just stock,5/8

The jet setting on your carb can make you run hotter. The leaner the mixture the more heat it is gonna generate. You need to go to the track and turn 5 or 6 racing laps and shut the car down on the track and coast into the pits. Pull a plug or two and look at the color of the ceramic. Depending on the type of gas you use there will be a different color. But if the plugs are white, you are running too lean and need to bump it up a few numbers. If they are black, then you are rich and need to bump down. You are looking for a chalky off white color (assuming using regular pump gas) This will get you close. Also if the timing is up there (around 36*) will also cause it to run a little hotter. Hope this helps.
