Had a pretty good first race friday night, came from 15 to finish 4th in the feature. After the race I noticed that I had a pool of oil in my air cleaner housing. On the right side ( as you are looking at the car) I run a breather and on the left side I run a tube that comes up about 4" and angles 90 degrees to the air cleaner housing. I guess I am pulling oil during high RPMs. I was wondering what every body else does on that side ( the torque side )? I was told that you only needed to vent one valve cover and that you could plug the other one, is this right?

Thanks

I run breathers on Drivers side only. Thats why you see all the valve covers sold with one set of breathers and the other one solid. There is no need to vent two sides.

yup just the drivers side and don't vent it to the air cleaner thats hot air coming out of there and cooler air makes mpore power just get yourself a $20 set of tall valve covers and a set of breather any racing catalog carries them
