Maybe you are floating the valves. DO you have good springs in the motor? What is your seat pressure of the valves?

If it's floating valves it will start popping at higher RPM's. If it just "goes flat", I would start looking into a carb/fuel problem, and it sound a little like trash in the carb. If you have a spare carb, or can borrrow a spare, try swapping them first.

I,m asking this because I don't know. It never misses it's like being on a merry-go-round. 95

i had the same problem last year at the start of the season it was springs it went flat and i had a brand new carb so i was not thinking it would be that so i changed the springs. problem was fixed it did not pop at high revs like it should have if it was springs bit went from reving 5500 to 6300 just from changing them.

95,If your running a stock distributor I would at least change the mod to a accell or something,A stock mod flattens out around 5500 rpm..
