Need Help - I know everyone has talked about adding weight to their cars before, but does any one have any suggestions. I have a Monte that currently has LF 990, RF 839, LR 755, RR 656. Last night I added 52pounds to the left rear frame rail this brings my total to 3292, and I have to weigh 3400. Cross weight 53.9% left side - 46.1% right side. (I am not sure what a good cross weight is, or what this should be) Thinking of adding most of the remaining weight to the rear: under frame rails, or should I put it on the trunk shelf, rear pass seat, and so on. Any thoughts?

Look in the tool box section and read the article about lead placement. It will give you a few pointers. Click on the menu button in the upper left hand corner to get there.

Good reading there I printed it out and took it to the scales car is alot better with good weight placment instead of just looking at the numbers on the scale and stacking weight on the rear of the car.

you have no rear percent hardly at all, put your lead over the left rear of car, you need to get your rear percent up to atleast 51-52% at the very least. Or you will be spinning the tires coming off the corner!
