Does anyone know the name of the web site that discusses changing from a booster style setup to manual brakes. I thought it was US Brake but I can not find the article I once read. It talked about drilling a new hole in the pedal a little higher or lower to change the lever ratio.

If you drill the pedal higher, it will give you more leverage. I kept the booster on my car and disconnected it. I unhooked the brake rod and I would only move about 1/2" so I just cut the brake pedal and lengthened it to get more leverage. If you are going to remove the booster and mount the master cylinder flat against the firewall, the pedal has already got another hole in it about 1.5" higher. (Assuming you are using a metric style car)

We did basically the same as Raceman17, but we opened the booster and took out the spring.
