I've run a TH350 in my metric hobby stock for the past year, and am switching to a manual out of pure distaste for the automatic. Does anyone have any suggestions for tranny choice, clutch, bellhousing, shifter. I'm completely clueless about how to set it all up or where to buy all the components. I need a complete system, assuming driveshaft as well. Any tips would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Get a 3 speed. It will fit right in there with no problem. The tranny cross member will have to have a small piece welded on it to hold the mount. Any belhousing from a truck will work aslong as you have the right starter. The drive shaft will fit with no modifications. You can use the stock z linkage with minor modifiactions to the firewall but your best bet is to get an aftermarket clutch pedal and master cylinder along with a push or pull type slave cylinder. (you can use a stock clutch fork and stock throwout bearing).
I hope this helps.

I have most of what you need-if you are running an externally balanced motor. (406, 383) I went to a ifferent set up and have all the z-bar, 9"(?) clutch, flywheel,TO bearing, NO Bellhousing Arms and ball
The flywheel is 153 tooth, balanced for a 400.
PM if interested
