I found my toe back pedal on a 1978 Ford Firetruck. It was only an option on the green ones with hybrid motors and water capacty over 6500 gallons.

Yes, I know what you mean. But, I can relate to some extent. About 10 years ago, I didnt know a rod bolt from a tie rod. I just had to get out there and try to learn everything I could.

Hey, no harm no foul. I was kinda wonderng myself until the loosing all the gas comment. LOL

I am still learning every day. I don't know all there is to know. I do know a few things and I will listen to anyone willing to give advice.

But you have to draw the line somewhere, right??? LOL

You have to admit, it was good for a few laughs. I told this story to a lot friends and everyone seemed to get a kick out of it.

Good luck with the coming season.

They are actually not that hard to find at all. I hit one with my new yard cart powered by a 832 big block just last week. I ended up having tho buy the firetruck with my mom's government cheese money from George Bush and Colon Powell....

Any way I have the toe lift pedal removed and I will sell it for $15,000 cash or trade for a proven late model winner. I do have the certificate of authenticity as well.

Better get on it quick, I have already talked to Scott Bloomquist, Dale McDowell, and Donnie Moran about it. They wont quit calling me.

BTW the pedal is pink so it may not have been OEm equipment on that purple truck.

Ok, I have removed my helmet and stepped away from the vehicle with my hands up. Disregard the purple toe pedal I have in my hand. I found it on a fire truck in my hometown and its mine...all mine. I going to install it tonight...up my ___! I deserve it. I never once thought about taking it this far. What a jerk! Waltonjr, you get the funniest comment prize award. One more question before I go...is it possible for a jack bolt to unscrew itself...therefore allowing the height of the car to be to low and fail post race inspection and still get credit for a victory?

Well I hope all can forgive me. I do race and I am a beginner, and do know a little more about it than that 16 year old dropout. Will you all allow me to stay a float in this forum if/when indeed I do need help? I don't race on dirt though. 1/2 asphalt track here in Pensacola (Five Flags Speedway)with a 79 Monte 350. Seriously..

Ryan..
You do win the 1st annual C.O.P. award. And to think I never once thought about the freakin profile I signed up with. Of course without mentioning names, I wasn't in this alone.....it was all fun at first, but then I (we) got too deep and I knew it would end up this way...I really appreciate the fact that no one has threatened to burn my house down...or trash my car...yet anyway.....

Come on BryanB30...you need to work on your approach...that one won't last very long. Too many mispelled words, too often and too obvious. You may be from Arkansas (probably not) and for that I apologize to you and everyone else who lives in Arkansas. Do you have a race car question you would like to share with our group tonight? We are all here to help with your problem. Don't be afraid to ask....just relax and take a deep breath..

bryanb30...not a problem. we all understand. its difficult to express your feelings sometimes, but we all here to help you. the first step to a problem is admitting it. What seems to be the problem with your engine? Is your motor in the front of the car? Are your tires liquid filled to exact temperature? Are you not getting enough center bite? Please be honest with us...we're all here for you...
