How do I determine what kind of tire pressure I need to be running and under what conditions do you go up or down on pressure? I run a mid 70's Monte Carlo that weighs in at 3600lbs and run 255/60 and 237/70 tires. Mostly Cooper Cobras and Delta GT's with tubes!

When I ran a stock class a few years back I ran as low as 20rf 16lf and lr and about 18rr you want the tire to have an even temp across the face of tread if center is hot then presure is to high.. You would be supprised how low you can go when they have tubes and with factory tires you have to because the the sidewalls are so stiff. And when the track went dry I would bump up the right side presures 1 to 2 pounds. Hope this helps
