im running a nova that recently had a 3 speed saginaw but i slung teh gears outta it. today i replaced it with a powerglide just to get me through teh 1st race this weekend but the problem im having is teh yolk that matched teh 3 speed doesnt match the pawerglide splines. the splines on teh powerglide has less than teh 3 speed. i was wondering if anyone knows of a vehicle that i may be able to rob a yolk that will work to match up with teh powerglide. thanks in advance for any help.

Any yoke will work from a chevy with auto trans.

only 2 automatic chevy yoke's that I know of are large one for 400 turbo's and a small one that fits 350 short or long shaft, 2004r, 700r4. never had a powerglide not sure wich one it takes prob the small one wich is very easy to find at salvage yard can prob find whole drive shaft for around 25 30 bucks

Sandhill,
What you have is an early powerglide with the coarse spline (16) they came in short (early style nova) and long versions (early big car). The yokes off early 60 chevys will fit,but hard to find. You may be able to get one at the driveshaft shop.
