I am connecting my frame together on a 1976 chevy nova I am going to take out the body bushing/mounts that are in the way on the rear of the front frame. the question is do I need to take all of them out total of 6 or just the 2 that are in the way on the rear and then build a block to take up the gap.

you need to take all of em out to start with and put the frame back in against the floorpan. this makes the chassis and unibody work as one, rather than flex. the way to connect the front and rear together with tubing all depends on how serious you want to get and the rules.there is a ton of **** in the way, like humps in the floorboard that make it hard to do without alot of cutting. the good news is its a nova and ther alot easier than a camaro. (floorpan is flater.

Took all the body mounts out in my 77 Nova and bolted the frame up solid to the body, channeled out the floor and mounted 2x2x3 in the rocker panels and tied the front subframe into the rear. Eddie

Douse them with penetrator where you can (be careful not to end up with a faceful of Blaster), and start EASILY with the bolts. Good luck.
