i have come across a 350sbc in a 1968 gmc stake truck the motor is a two barrel with a non egr intake ram horn exhaust mainifolds is this motor worth buying? cant't read the numbers to far back against fire wall.from what i have read these motors could have anywhere from 250hp to 375hp is this correct? any help would be good thanks.

At least buy the carb, it will be the big 2bbl roch. that everybody is looking for. (for hobby stk.)

buy it most always the engine is a 4 botl main and most always the crank is steel; alot of good parts in the 2 ton trucks engines that is where I look for engines good luck

I would get it for sure, it seems that them older motors are always good cores, cood cranks. I had a 67' 327 and I just could not kill that thing, I eded up selling it for $200 to a friend with the steel crank and camel humps and he put it in his truck and ran it without water. it was dead then LOL

he wants $450 for it that is canadian dollors does that sound like it is in the right ball park?
