i have a 79 caprice that pushes like a d-9 dozer in the mid of 1 and 2 my rf is 1100 and lf is 900 rr 200 and lr is 175.

running in purestock my track is 3/8 mile d
running 256 in low with th350. the rest of the track the car is perfect. cann't be touched but i one and two how can i loosen the car up with out afecting the rest of the track.

Personaly If your cars weights over 3000 lbs I think you are to light on the rear spring try a 200rr, 250lr

if i change this will it change the handling on the rest of the track?

CHECK YOUR RF SHOCK OR CHECK FOR RF LOWER CONTROL ARM BOTTOMING OUT ON FRAME

have you had your front end aligned right that makes a heck of a difference
