our rules say you cant have an audible camshaft. I am running on the border, someone told me to run no lash, or even .010 clearance. Does this sound right??? to calm it down. (hydraulic lifters) Also what does most people
run for ignition timing??

i could very well be wrong but i don't think adjusting the lash will help you with hydraulic lifters. someone else can comment on that though. i usually run around 35 degrees of total timing.

might try rhoads lifters the bleed off at idle might just be enough to get you by.

we ran our hydaulic cam's lifters @ zero lash because our's were pumping up and holding the valves open, but it makes it hard to start if it sits long enough to bleed down on some.
