We just had our '05 rules meeting and the track we run has a new promoter. Biggest change for us is, we have to run 235/70/15 Cooper Cobras all the way around. Can anyone tell me the roll out of this tire? And how much to the Cobras vary tire to tire with roll out? And while we are at it....what kind of pressures to they tend to like? Thank you in advance for any help.

New 235/60/15s are 81-15/16" to 82", very little variance. Track allows 245/60/15 max, so I only use the 235's on the left side, and use 245's on the right. Sometimes use 225 on the left, if its fairly wet. Tire pressures 14-16 wet, 16-18 dry. We have gone as low as 13 with some success, still experimenting. Not sure about 70 series tire.

yep, its around 84 inches. Also, we ran alot of different pressures, and found that it likes the low pressures better, contrary to what alot of people say. We found that it has better bite when the rear is low.

lf---14
rf---18
lr---14
rr---16

We also run a bead lock on the right rear. These pressures are ok on a smooth track, but if it is rough bump the right sides up about 3 lbs. We started to rip the bead off on the low pressures with a rough track.
