has anyone ever tried running gear oil in the front wheel bearings instead of grease? sure would spin more freely (less drag is more speed) if so what seal and cap did you use. and how did it work?

just pack the bearings with amsoil syntheic wheel and chass grease its a lot lighter than normal grease and is desined for wheel bearings (is supossed to reduce friction) good luck on the gear oil theory it might work if you can get it to stay in...

I agree with IB if you can get it to stay in more power to you, I use the mobil1 synthtic on my bearings, grease would probably work the best for you. Eddie
