We have a bunch of lead weights that need to be melted and made into a balast. What do you guys do here??

I would like to make molds to pour the hot lead in so the weight will fit the tubing.

Any help appreciated.

I USE A OLD FISH FRYER. HOOK IT UP TO A PROPANE TANK (LIKE OFF A GAS GRILL)LIGHT IT UP AND LET IT GET HOT THEN SLOWLY START ADDING THE LEAD BRICKS IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME BUT IT WILL SLOWLY START MELTING THEN WHEN I GET ABOUT 3/4 POT I POUR IT IN TO A OLD SBC VALVE COVER AND START ALL OVER ITS A REALLY LONG PROCESS BUT IT WORKS.
