I just scaled my hobby stock car (81 pontiac grand prix)and I need help. Total weight of car with driver in is 3188. Left weight is 1612 or 51% and the rear weight is 1371 or 43%. RF-LR cross weight is 46%. I am running a 1100 spring in the right front, a 1000 spring in the left front, 175 left rear and 225 right rear. I am running Bilstien shocks on all four corners. I have a 22 gal fuel cell on the very right side of the trunk. The track I run on is 3/8 mile high banked pure dirt track. Do I need to get more rear and left weight? What percentages do you run?

i ran close to the same stuff. put the cell in the middle. wheres the battery? my front springs were 1200 rf and 1000 lf. they were cut down to 10.5 inches. the rears are the same as yours, you need to put the 175 on the rr and the 225 on the lr. my rear springs were 11 inches. battery box weighted 70 lbs and was to the left of the cell as far as possible. make sure your ride heights are good. 1 inch higher in the rear than the front, and 1 inch higher on the right side then the left. the left front should be the lowet and the rr should be the highest.hope that makes sense.

Thx. My battery is in right back seat. I can put the battery in the trunk but the track is proposing to change the rule to state the battery must in the back seat area.
