i got my rule book out of the parts truck!the only racing i'll be doing this weekend is back and forth to the frig during the richmond race.used a new machine shop on my new double humps for the big race at modoc, and the moron at the machine shop must have cut the guides to tight,as soon as it warmed up ,the valve seized, broke my brand new weisco, and locked it up tight!so if you pickup the charleston paper on monday and read about some one throwing a cyl. head thru a machine shop window, come bail me out

"Scuse me for butting in.....I have a question about cylinder heads at Modoc. I read that they call for "stock" heads. After the spring race I think that I read that the apparent winner had been dq'd for having done some work to his double humps. I'd like to go get a little of that action, but my 461's must have been put on the mill a little crooked and lost about .125 off one side of the deck. (LOL) Would that make them illegal at Modoc? Thanks!
