Last two weeks car runs really good untill a caution then it stumbles on restarts for about a 1/4 lap then it's fine seems like electrical to me. last week replaced cap and rotor plugs looked good. Could a bad coil act up like that? it only on restarts no problems on initial start of the race.

Sounds like your carb is overloading on caution and making it stumble. Then clearing up and staying clear when you get mnore rpm's.

I'll take a look tomorrow to see if it's near anything hot but have been running the same set up for 2 years and just started last week. I was thinking it might be the carb but wasn't sure how to tell if it was the carb since it only happens under race conditions what should i be looking for to tell if it's loading up.

Two years of car washing doesn't work we'll with our wiring. Check your master switch for corrosion, could be electrical not many pay attention to their wiring.

Yea sounds like your carb is loading up to me too, I would try to keep the Rpms up during then, I usally just run in first and rev the engine every now and then to keep it clean.
that or your plugs might be fouling out too, same soulution

OK went and took a good look at the car today. The fuel line isn't near anything hot. The plugs were fouled so i replaced them and went from an autolight 24 to a 26. I'm running a rochester 2G carb, i was running a speedway 2G but after ruining it earlier in the year I'm running one i had to pick up in a hurry so it's straight from autozone nothing done to it at all.
