I JUST GOT THE OK FROM THE TRACK I RUN TO RUN A 1979 RANCHERO IN PURE STOCK. ANY IDEAS GUYS. IM GONNA BUILD IT NO MATTER WHAT CAUSE I THINK IT WOULD BE A COOL PURE STOCK. IT CURRENTLY HAS A 351W IN IT. AUTO MATIC TRANS NOT SURE BUT I THINK ITS A C-6. WHAT ABOUT SUSPENSION. WHAT ABOUT REAR END IS IT DURABLE. ANY INFO ON IT WOULD BE APPRECIATED

We run a 77 ltd II and have grabed parts off of rancheros before, so i think it is pretty much the same stuff. The rear end should be a 9 inch so you should be set there, get you rear weight up might be a problem but our car is real stable in the turns, and that 351W should be great to get you going, if you want to run an automatic I would think about going to going to a c-4
