I'm new to bombers and have a couple of probably dumb questions. First I have read my local track rules(Lincoln Park Speedway) Putnamville, IN and it doesn't clearly define engine displacement rules. In general is the rule anything that could have come stock with the original car or like anything up to a 350 or 351? Second question is in general is it legal to run a 9" Ford rearend under a Regal? Or would this be a major pain? ThanksBaddogbomber

from reading your rules you can ren any engine in that manufacters line GM-GM FORD-FORD and it also states ford 9 inch is optional so you can run if you wanna. from the looks of your track i would run a 327 with an automatic trannie with a final gear of about a 6.33+or- final gear through a ford 9 inch with disc brakes on the rear.

check out this company they build a tough ford 9 inch for just about any car using gm inner axles.
those raptors i'm tring to figure out why they have anything to do with gm parts.gm rear ends are junk compared to fords. reading the rules a 355 should be fine but if you can find a 400 i'd run that then gear depends on what motor you use with a 350 i'd probably use a 6.87 for a 400 a 6.50
