The lifliners are a 60000 mile tire the cobras are 50000 mile so the cobra is softer compound . and on a dry track they will hook up better. We use cobras, master craft and xr6000, all are made by cooper tire company . And all work good for us .

I run a couple cooper cobra's and I am switching to Firestone Fiehawk Indy 500's. they are softer, and work better for me. Plus the 205-70-14 I like to run is about 3/4 inch wider at the tread then the cooper.

About $60 a tire though.....AUGH!

I have HEARD that the BFgoodrich is a good tire, but I have never tried one.

Generally the lower the tire warrenty the softer they are. Unless you use REALLY cheep tires, they just **** . (like the Douglas $30 tires from walmart)

I work for a tire store that sells goodyear and coopers. I did a durometer test on 7 or 8 different tires including the cobras and the lifeliners and all of them were around 65 on the durometer. Kelly chargers were around 58 but they arent very good rear tires.
