I run SUPER DUPER soft Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's and the right front will last 4-5 nights right rear lasts a little longer then that. left rear and left front will last until someone pops them pretty much.

There is NO comparison to any tire from These tires. Work good in mud, slop, marbles, and dry slick.

we get a season out of our american racer softs.approx 30 races. including a 100 lapper at the end of the season. if the left fr is not cut up we use it for the next year. i change the other three and use the old ones for spares.

How many people out there are grinding their tires? How much of an advantage have you seen so far?

well the bfg radial ta's are ok but the sidewalls go after 2 nights well at least in my super stock, and then the tire will develop a heat ring or an impact break in the sidewall and blow out, the best tire for the buck if you have to run DOT tires is the winston winner g/t's if you can get em they are a well built tire with a soft compound and you can get em for about 45 to 50 dollars a piece.
