I have a good wheel with a beadlock kit welded on it, but it doesn't have the outer mounting ring. How do I identify what ring it needs. The kit was put on 10 years ago or so. An Aero, Basset or Bart beadlock ring doesn't match up. It has 16 bolts.

Speedway Motors sells a kit with 16 bolts that was made by Carman. They still sell the outter ring (part #253-1515) that may be what you are looking for. It is a different size (bolt pattern) than Aero and Bassett.

Called them today they said it was 18 bolt and the same as a Basset.

My kit must be "old stock"? The instructions are from: CARMAN SAFETY LOCK
Coldwater, MI (800) 290-6519
(517) 369-2053
This kit uses a 16 bolt ring and "was" sold by Speedway under part #253-1510. The Carman number on the box is 1510/N. Hope this helps. I guess Speedway changed vendors.
I think Day Motorsports sold these kits years ago also. I bought some wheels from them with the same ring.

I took a chance and ordered from Speedway. Had to order the entire kit cause the separate rings were on backorder. Luckily enough if fit. Now I have an extra inner ring though.
Thanks
