I run a stock camaro in the bomber class where I race.Front springs are stock,rear springs are stock,open rear end.We cant do anything to the suspension.Going in the turn the car is very loose,out of the turn the car is fine.I noticed most of the competitors run metric cars and are not having that problem.Is there an advantage to stock coil springs compared to stock leaf springs?

if you are loose entering, you may have too much rear brake, assuming you are braking at entry. drum brakes in the rear. use a saw-zaw or hack saw for this modification.

on the LR, cut 1/3 of the front part of the brake pad off. cut 1/3 of the rear brake pad off.

on the RR, cut 2/3 of the front brake pad off. cut 2/3 of the rear brake pad off.

this will give you less rear brakes overall.
it will also give you more braking on the LR which will pull the car to the left when braking.

stiffen the lf spring with a heaver cars spring, like a station wagon. or get a racing one and sandblast it and spray it with water so it rust.
that will tighten entry.
