Here's a list of casting numbers of heads I had purchased at a recent swap meet. I know the 441's are a good set to use, but, I'd like to know (from best to worst) which ones to use. These are in no particular order. 336, 339, 388, 441, 454, 487, 624, 813, 882, 991, 993... We run a 350 4-bolt 010 020 block punched .060, 350 crank and rods with 327 pistons beveled(to prevent hitting the heads) Solid custom ground cam to pull 15/in vac. at 700 RPM, a canadian 2-bbl cast iron intake. Thanks for any help you fellas can give..

I'd throw the 624's in the s****heap or sell them to an engine shop. They crack between the valves at the slightest hint of heat.

I believe the 336, 339 and 993 are equal performers. The 441 and 487 are the best of the bunch though.
