hey every one i m just turning 16 and looking to get a race car what do i need to know to get started. any one know of a good cheep car thats complete let me know

well your off to a great start you have found this forum. the best thing to do is help somebody on their car for a year or so until you get the hang of things. learn all you can learn and still that wont be enough.lol. just get into the pits ask questions and most of all have fun. hope this helps. i sure some more people will post better stuff for you, to go by also.good luck...later

thanxs guys for the advice. keep an eye out for me and let me know if you find a complete car or a complete roller thats cheep

Look in the cars for sale section, there are many cars in there under 2000 that would fit the bill for you most likely.

Be in the pits helping out for most of this season and be saving up some money. Then towards the end of the season, start watching for cars that are for sale. A lot of guys sell their cars at the end of the season because they're building a new one or they are moving up a class. You may be able to find a complete car with engine pretty cheap. You never know.
